After receiving news of his father’s death, Taeo returns to Korea—only to encounter unsettling rumors surrounding Gyeongseo, a household servant and his first love, after the funeral.Back in the old mansion encircled by ancient trees, a place he hasn’t seen in years, Taeo begins to harbor doubts about Gyeongseo. At the same time, long-forgotten memories of the past start resurfacing, one by one—quietly, insistently, like ghosts slipping through a crack in the door.
