Woo Jungwon lost his parents as a child and grew up in an orphanage with only his name. The head of the orphanage, who had used up all the government subsidies and donations, and even went into debt with loan sharks, began to think about using the children in the orphanage as a source of money because he could not find a way to pay off his debts.
When he wanted to sell Jungwon as a first step, he met Kwon Junseo, a loan shark who came to collect debts.
Jungwon, who felt hopeless and wanted to give up, felt protection from Junseo for the first time. Jun-seo wasn't a good person, and he didn't do any extraordinary good, but to Jungwon, he was like the first streetlight in her life.
Luck comes and goes. Young Jungwon believes that this is all thanks to the street lamp he saw last night, and begins to admire Junseo, the dim light that suddenly illuminates his life.
