Kwon Hee-mang lives the life of an unemployed, stay-at-home hikikomori with no particular job or friends. But one day, after an unexpected accident, she gains the ability to see ghosts, and she ends up with a ghost named Kim Sarang clinging to her after meeting her in the hospital. Kim Sarang tells Kwon Hee-mang that she will obediently leave is Hee-mang helps her resolve her lingering regret. Kim Sarang's regret is none other than dying just one month after finally confessing to and dating the man she had a crush on (and she never even got past first base.)
