Rebirth

Yeo-dam’s life has revolved around the emperor. The emperor made sure that not only would Yeo-dam’s family and friends never be a part of his life, but that Yeo-dam would be mentally and physically crippled so as never to leave him. In spite of this – or perhaps because of this – Yeo-dam feels that the death that befalls the emperor is undeserved. As a pontifice to the goddess Hwi-seon, he is allowed one wish in exchange for his life and he chooses to use it on the emperor. But the goddess feels it was the emperor’s actions on Yeo-dam that was undeserved and she returns Yeo-dam back into his original life as a child, but with a twist: he has the gift of divine powers.
